UNDERSTANDING FLOURISHING
What is Flourishing?
True well-being is more than just getting through a crisis—it is about having the opportunity to thrive in every area of life. Grounded in research from Harvard and Baylor University, holistic flourishing touches six core domains of human experience, nurtured through four key pathways.
MEASURING WELL-BEING
The Flourishing Assessment
We rarely pause to evaluate how we are doing across every area of life. The Flourishing Assessment provides a simple, evidence-informed snapshot of your current well-being across all six domains.
What to expect: We provide customized reporting and guidance on interpreting your group's aggregate results so you can deploy targeted care where it is needed most.

WHAT MAKES UNITE DIFFERENT
Every county follows the same six steps
Unite isn't just another program layered on top of the existing ones. It's a methodology for connecting what already exists in a county — our goal is to unify. Here's exactly how it works.
STEP ONE
01
Identify Champions
Each Zone begins by identifying a neutral convener who feels responsible for the holistic flourishing of everyone in their Zone and believes in the contribution of every sector, organization, and individual.
STEP TWO
02
Map Local Assets & Track Partner Health
Catalog every local church, nonprofit, school, and business, identifying key "places to belong" across the 3 of the 4 Pathways (School, Work, and Faith Community). Deploy assets as needs are identified, and conduct regular flourishing assessments to ensure leader and staff health.
STEP THREE
03
Train the Multi-Sector Network
Equip neighbors, coworkers, educators, healthcare professionals, government and nonprofit workers low-wage employers, and ministry leaders with foundational training on empathy, healthy relationships, and the multi-sector ecosystem—including our COPE training and HelpFinder’s Flourishing Assessment tools.
STEP FOUR
04
Deploy Resource Coordinators & Teams
Activate trained Resource Coordinators using HelpFinder case management and CarePortal. Reassess families every 30–90 days while teaching neighbors to self-navigate local resources.
STEP FIVE
05
Maintain Regular Network Alignment
Convene Regional Champions and partners bimonthly to build relationships, celebrate successes, strategize, and learn together, maintaining regular communication between meetings.
STEP SIX
06
City & County Wide Integration
Gather regional networks 1–2 times per year at the city or county level to celebrate milestones, share best practices, and align broader policy/resource efforts.
