HOW DO WE HELP?
A THEOLOGY OF WORK + FLOURISHING
If we think about "flourishing" as a word to describe life as God intended it and what we want for those we love, we can look at work from 3 perspectives:

Stewardship of your patch of the garden:
-- your workplace in addition to the church, community, etc. where God has placed you.

Care for the people God has put in your life:
-- your co-workers in addition to your family, friends, and neighbors.
​
The intrinsic value of your productive effort:
-- the product or service you're providing to your team or the world.​

COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES
Unite's Community Experience (also known as COPE) is an opportunity to walk in someone else's shoes in light of our vision for holistic flourishing. This is our recommended starting point as you explore what it means to care for others.
It's the most effective tool we've seen for helping people understand the challenges other people face and the role of various organizations of getting them back on the pathway to flourishing. So effective, in fact, the education and healthcare sectors use it for professional development.
