
This effort to empower the public to GIVE HELP and GET HELP was first inspired by a multi-sector Dallas COVID-19 Alliance that had been created by Dallas' Health and Healthcare "COVID-19 Czar," Dr. Kelvin Baggett to promote a collaborative approach to counter adverse consequences related to COVID-19.
Unite, Dallas' own Lerma Agency, and other team members successfully piloted this model with a campaign called BIGGER TOGETHER in a small part of the Dallas community near the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year.
National partners including Gloo and the National Christian Foundation stepped in with technology capabilities and donor funds provided to empower local churches through the COVID crisis. Together, these local and national partners created a unique but powerful model that changing lives of thousands of DFW families who want to GIVE HELP and GET HELP.
